SolaCom is pleased to announce the sale of its Air Traffic Control (ATC) Business unit to Harris Corporation

SolaCom and Harris have had a close relationship for over a decade and see the new entity taking a real leadership position in the international air traffic control market. Uniting SolaCom’s mission critical voice communication switching product with Harris’ reputation as a world-class ATC and ATM systems provider; creates an organization well poised to support the next generation transformation goals of our global customer base. Proceeds from the ATC sale will fuel SolaCom’s rapidly growing Public Safety and Security (C4I & Homeland Security) Business Units. Plans include expanding SolaCom’s sales and marketing activities as well as adding increased functionality to its LibertySHIELD/LibertyCommand product line used by both units.
