SolaCom Awarded UAE Building Contract

GATINEAU, QC, Canada – November 27, 2007 - SolaCom Technologies, a communications solution company that enables interoperability over any network infrastructure, announced today it has been awarded a significant contract to provide an integrated security communication system to protect 30 high profile buildings in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The new LibertySHIELD system will allow UAE authorities to monitor and control the fire alarm; closed circuit television (CCTV); elevator; access control and public address systems for all 30 buildings from one central location.
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is a Middle Eastern federation of seven states bordering Oman and Saudi Arabia. The UAE has a highly industrialized economy making them one of the most developed in the world. With a population of only 4.5 million people; the UAE boasts one of the world’s fastest growing economies and ranks them third in GDP per capita in the world.
