Canadian Association of Defence and Security Industries (CADSI)

The Canadian Association of Defence and Security Industries (CADSI) is a not-for-profit national business association that represents the Canadian defence and security industries. Formerly the Canadian Defence Industries Association, CADSI represents over 430 member companies selling to the defence and public security markets.  The industries employ over 70,000 Canadians and generate $7 billion in annual revenues, roughly 50% of which comes from international sales. CADSI member companies are of all sizes and offer a wide spectrum of goods and services to its customers, and to business partners in Canada, the United States, and internationally. National Emergency Number Association (NENA) is The Voice of 9-1-1™. NENA promotes implementation and awareness of 9-1-1 as North America’s universal emergency number. NENA is the leading professional non-profit organization dedicated solely to 9-1-1 emergency communications issues. NENA serves its nearly 7,000 members in 48 chapters across the U.S., Canada and Mexico through policy advocacy, establishment of technical and operational standards, certification programs and a broad spectrum of educational offerings. Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO)

The Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) International is the world's oldest and largest professional organization dedicated to the enhancement of public safety communications. Ottawa-Carleton Research Institute (OCRI)

For 20 years, OCRI has been Ottawa's lead economic agency for fostering the advancement of the region's globally competitive knowledge-based economy. OCRI is a non-profit, partnership organization that operates on an annual budget that comes from a variety of sources including: municipal, federal and provincial government grants; membership fees; professional development programs; and private sector contributions. Technopole Defence & Security (TDS)

Technopole Defence and Security (TDS) is a non-profit organization and unique business network operating in the defence, security and emergency preparedness sectors. Applying a specially developed client-focussed business model, TDS forms strategic partnerships by leveraging its members' expertise and resources. Bringing together Canadian businesses, university departments and research centres, TDS creates synergies aimed at promoting the adoption of innovative technologies in the defence, security and emergency preparedness sectors.
