LINUX MONO AND .NET DEVELOPER – 101
- The ideal candidate will have comprehensive experience in designing Software for GUI and communications equipment for Linux and Windows platforms.
- Hands-on Systems and Software design experience in portable open source Linux-based development environments (processes, languages and tools)
- Fluent with OO design, C#, on both MONO and Windows .NET environment
- Capable of adapting design/code from Windows .NET to MONO .NET and addressing environment/gap difference issues with proper design solutions
- Develop and adapt extensible client-server based User Interfaces in .NET (both MONO and Windows)
- Knowledge of MONO .NET roadmap, feature coverage when compared to Windows .NET and capable to architect a migration from windows to Linux .NET for an existing product.
- Requirements include B.S. or M.S. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
- Expertise with ClearCase, ClearQuest
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Develop, design, code, unit test, debug, integrate, document and participate in full life cycle Software development activities.
- Attend meetings, report progress, take technical leadership and ownership of assigned design work.
Generally requires:
- Minimum of 5+ years of GUI and IP Communications development experience
- Other Soft skills:
- Interest and aptitude for Software development is a must
- Independent self starter, positive work ethic
- Comfortable in a team environment
- Appreciation of Software Development Methodologies
PRODUCT VERIFICATION ENGINEER – 119A
- Designs, develops and implements methods of testing and troubleshooting systems.
- Defines test objectives, writes test cases, builds test systems, and executes functional, application, regression and performance tests.
- Develops and implements automated testing.
- Investigates and recommends software productivity and testing tools for use within Quality Assurance.
- Establishes and maintains process for transfer of and access to test material, to enable its use from both development and test-kit accounts.
- Coordinates adaptation of new and existing tests to streamline test operations.
- Prepares and maintains testing documentation.
Generally requires:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
- 3-6 years experience
PRODUCT VERIFICATION TECHNOLOGIST – 119B
- Implements test plans to confirm software product functionality and integrity.
- Performs tests, resolves/reports problems encountered, and documents results for follow-up.
- Adapts existing routine tests to other/new platforms.
- Conducts testing to verify problem fixes, new product features as yet untested, and problems reported through Product Support from customers.
- Implements and maintains procedures for automatic initiation and easy verification of routine testing "runs".
Generally requires:
- A college diploma in electronics
MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY – 150
- Designs, develops and implements methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment.
- Defines test objectives, writes test cases, builds test systems, and executes functional, application and performance tests.
- Analyses failure results for root causes.
- Prepares and maintains documentation.
- Integrates electronic equipment and performs on-site client installation, solders and repairs PCB.
- Performs factory and site acceptance test functions.
- Generates reports and returns.
- Provides technical support to internal departments.
- Provides a descriptive listing of the time and parts spent for warranty and non warranty repairs.
- Issues invoice for non warranty repair, opens and closes RMA/Tickets in a timely manner.
- Provides support to subcontractors.
- Procures parts and consumable goods related to customer repair.
- Performs duty technician on 24 Hour call for specified periods at a time.
- Liaises with customers to resolve problems.
- Trains customers on products.
- Performs on-site and over the phone troubleshooting.
Generally requires:
- A college diploma in electronics
- Undertakes assigned marketing support projects such as market research, analysis and report writing
- Prepares marketing communications and promotional material
- Identifies and provides support with trade shows and potential customer seminars, as required.
- Reviews implementation plans and identifies potential problems
- Interfaces with internal personnel and external contractors as required
- Develops new projects within area of responsibility
- Reviews on-going projects with management.
