The SolaCom Emergency Services Platform (ESP) combines a next generation LibertySHIELD Geo-Spatial Router - a next generation
hybrid router/controller and ALI database all in one, with a our LibertySHIELD Emergency Gateway a device for maintaining connections with legacy CPE devices, and our LibertySHIELD Guardian call taking to create one of the first next generation NG 9-1-1 platforms on the market today. LibertySHIELD Guardian allows PSAP managers and PSAP telecommunicators to easily identify incoming to receive the information they need from their callers. Modular in its approach and fiexible enough to handle call volumes from the smallest to the largest, Guardian is something new to the market today just in time for IP networks and Next Generation networks.

The Next Generation Selective Router mediates legacy emergency calls so the ANI/ESRK can be used to route a call and provide location to the PSAP. The ESP Platform can function as an Initial, Intermediate or Terminating ESRP as defined by NENA. Location of the caller is conveyed with the call allowing dynamic routing and immediate delivery of location. The SolaCom ESP was created to continue to meet citizen's evolving 9-1-1 expectations and protect any agency from technical obsolescence by upgrading to a Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG 9-1-1).
