Airline Dispatch
Integrated radio and telephony communication system provides maximum usability for airline dispatchers
Preparing flight plans, calculating fuel requirements, coordinating passenger services, and evaluating meteorological conditions are a few of the diverse responsibilities required in airline dispatch.
The Liberty-STAR is a highly-reliable Voice Communication System (VCS) that integrates radio and landline communication capabilities, while physically occupying minimal space at the dispatcher's workstation. This helps dispatchers to communicate swiftly and clearly over the radio and telephone so that the information they need to convey gets where it's needed every time.
Designed for mission-critical reliability
Reliability is ensured by:
- Continuous online diagnostics
- Redundant communication circuits
- Remote maintenance
- Physical component distribution
- Modern manufacturing techniques
Consoles that put you in control
Either touch-screen or push button air traffic controller consoles are available with the Liberty-STAR VCS.
- Touch-screen consoles operate on a standard IBM-compatible computer. The Graphical User Interface (GUI) can be accessed via touch-screen or mouse and can easily be configured to suit the operational requirements of the facility.
- Push-button consoles include operator modules that allow for efficient radio, intercom and interphone circuit operation.
Scalable to support even the largest centers
The Liberty-STAR VCS can be sized to an operation with just a few positions, to those with several hundred positions. The system is designed with a modular architecture, so it can easily be expanded as the operation grows -- you never need to haul out existing equipment to accommodate a larger operation.
