LibertyCOMMAND will provide voice communications for naval forces

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

GATINEAU, QC, Canada – February 5, 2009 – Solacom Technologies, a communications solution company that enables interoperability over any network infrastructure, announces that it has been awarded a multi-million dollar contract to provide its sophisticated LibertyCOMMAND integrated communication solution to the Royal Saudi Naval Forces (RSNF) in Saudi Arabia.

Solacom will be providing the RSNF with a revolutionary IP-based voice provisioning product which will support multiple operator scenarios. Four systems will be deployed at three non-disclosed locations.

“LibertyCOMMAND’s ability to seamlessly integrate information regardless of source, and transmit it to authorities in mission critical centers makes it a perfect choice for the Royal Saudi Navy” says Mike Walker, Business Development Manager. “Military personnel need systems they can depend on and trust and Solacom satisfies this need.”

This is Solacom’s second significant contract in Saudi Arabia in as many years following last year’s project in Yanbu. The project is the latest for Solacom in the Middle East region with systems already deployed in the United Arab Emirates.
