(Nasdaq: CMTL) announced on February 28 that it closed its strategic acquisition of Solacom Technologies Inc., a leading provider of Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1) call handling and management solutions for public safety agencies.
The acquisition expands Comtech’s presence in the public safety solutions market and enables Solacom and Comtech Safety & Security Technologies — a division of Comtech that provides public safety communications products and services — to join forces and offer integrated, best-in-class NG9-1-1 solutions to PSAPs across the country.
